Question 1

How much does flooring installation cost?

Accepted Answer

The cost of flooring installation varies based on the material, square footage, subfloor condition, and complexity of the project. LVP typically ranges from $3–$7/sq ft installed, hardwood $8–$15/sq ft, laminate $4–$8/sq ft, tile $8–$20/sq ft, and carpet $3–$6/sq ft. We provide free, detailed estimates so you know exactly what to expect.

Question 2

Do you offer free estimates?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We provide free, no-obligation in-home measures and estimates. We bring samples to your home, measure accurately, and give you an honest quote with no hidden fees or pressure.

Question 3

Do you offer financing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we offer flexible financing options including 0% APR for 12 months, and longer terms up to 120 months. Visit our financing page to use our calculator and apply.

Question 4

Are there any hidden fees?

Accepted Answer

Never. Our estimates include all materials, labor, old flooring removal, and disposal. The price we quote is the price you pay.

Question 5

How long does flooring installation take?

Accepted Answer

Most single-room installations take 1–2 days, while full-home installations (1,500–2,500 sq ft) typically take 2–4 days depending on the material and complexity. Hardwood installations that require acclimation may take longer.

Question 6

How soon can you start my project?

Accepted Answer

We typically schedule projects within 1–2 weeks of estimate approval. During peak season (spring/summer), timelines may be slightly longer. Rush jobs may be available—just ask!

Question 7

Do you work on weekends?

Accepted Answer

Our standard schedule is Monday–Friday, but we can accommodate weekend installations for special circumstances. Contact us to discuss your needs.

Question 8

What flooring is best for homes with pets?

Accepted Answer

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) is our top recommendation for pet owners—it's 100% waterproof, scratch-resistant, and easy to clean. Tile is also excellent for high-traffic areas.

Question 9

What flooring is best for kitchens and bathrooms?

Accepted Answer

Tile and LVP are the best choices for wet areas. Both are waterproof and durable. Hardwood and laminate are not recommended in bathrooms due to moisture sensitivity.

Question 10

Can you match my existing flooring for repairs?

Accepted Answer

In many cases, yes. We can often source matching materials or blend repaired sections seamlessly. For older or discontinued products, we'll recommend the closest match and discuss options.

Question 11

Should I choose LVP or laminate?

Accepted Answer

LVP is waterproof and more durable, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and homes with pets. Laminate is more affordable and offers a realistic wood look but is not waterproof. See our LVP vs Laminate comparison for details.

Question 12

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we stand behind our craftsmanship with a 2-year installation warranty. If any issue arises from our installation, we'll fix it at no cost to you.

Question 13

What does your warranty cover?

Accepted Answer

Our installation warranty covers issues related to workmanship, including loose boards, gaps, lifting, or transitions. It does not cover damage from flooding, improper maintenance, or normal wear.

Question 14

Are the flooring materials warranted?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all flooring materials we install come with manufacturer warranties, which vary by product. LVP typically carries a 15–25 year residential warranty, hardwood 25–50 years, and tile is often lifetime.

Question 15

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We serve Bluffdale and the surrounding Salt Lake Valley, including Riverton, Herriman, South Jordan, West Jordan, Draper, Sandy, Lehi, American Fork, Saratoga Springs, and Eagle Mountain. View our full service area map for details.

Question 16

Do you charge for travel?

Accepted Answer

No! We provide free estimates and do not charge travel fees within our service area. For projects outside our standard radius, we may discuss travel arrangements.

Question 17

Can I see examples of your work in my area?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Visit our Projects page to see before and after photos of installations in your city, or check your city's page for local project highlights.
